PAOLA, Kan. —
Paola police arrested a 37-year-old man Sunday afternoon after a shooting that left one person injured on North Iron Street.
Officers were called to a home in the 400 block of North Iron Street around 1:05 p.m. for reports of a man who had been shot, according to the Paola Police Department. Advertisement
When they arrived, the suspect was already gone.
Police said an officer later spotted the suspect's vehicle coming back into the city on Baptiste Drive from 311th Street around 2:45 p.m.
Officers conducted a felony traffic stop on northbound U.S. 169, just north of Baptiste Drive, and took him into custody without incident.
