BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - According to multiple sources, including ESPN’s Pete Thamel, top school executives are discussing the terms of Kelly’s departure now.

At this point in Kelly’s contract, LSU would have to pay Kelly’s $54 million buyout unless something is negotiated.

Kelly’s record at LSU is 34-14 overall with a 19-10 mark in SEC play.

According to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, Frank Wilson is expected to be named interim coach.

A mandatory meeting was set for 8 p.m. Sunday for team members.
