CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- On Sunday afternoon, thousands gathered for Jackfest, celebrating a young cancer survivor who is giving back to the community in a big way.
“It's inspired by my son Jack, who's a childhood cancer survivor. He had cancer when he was three and four years old and the original Jackfest supported our family and now we're paying it forward for the organizations that supported us when he was sick,” Mike Callahan said, Jackfest co-organizer.
