CLEVELAND, Ohio — It will be a brisk start Monday as temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s in the Cleveland area until about 8 a.m. It will warm rapidly after 9 a.m., eventually reaching the upper 50s with sunny skies. Temperatures will drop back to the upper 30s overnight with clear skies. It will be breezy and gusts reach 20 mph.

Frost / freeze warnings

There is a freeze warning until 9 a.m. Monday in Ashtabula, Geauga, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit, Trumbull and Stark counties. The National Weather Service says temperatures in some areas could reach the low to mid-20s. There is a frost advisory for Lake County and the Ashtabula County lakeshore until 9 a.m. Monday.
