NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department says a critical missing juvenile in New Orleans East has been located safely Sunday night.

Officers responded to the 7000 block of Lawrence Road in the Little Woods neighborhood around 3:44 p.m., after relatives reported that 7-year-old Ja’Corey Shannon was unaccounted for, a release said.

Shannon is a Black male, age 7.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ja'Corey Shannon was asked to call Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070 or to call NOPD by calling 911 or 504-821-2222.
