Five pedestrians have narrowly escaped being hit by a car police allege was speeding through a red light, with new video released to find the driver.
Police said the five people were crossing the Nepean Highway in the Melbourne seaside suburb of Mornington when the near miss occurred about 10.30pm on October 3.
The red Mazda 121 with the registration 1WG6OE was detected travelling at 93kmh in the 70kmh zone.
Police released video of the incident on October 27, which showed the group crossing the road, with two pairs from the group on each side of the car as it entered the intersection.
