Shuttle buses temporarily replaced service on part of the MBTA Green Line Sunday night due to police activity in Boston.

The MBTA said shortly after 7 p.m. that shuttle buses were being used for service between Washington Street and Kenmore due to police activity on the right of way near Packards Corner. Delays were said to be expected.

Transit police said they are working on gathering more information on what happened but preliminary details indicate a woman suffered a non-life-threatening injury in the incident.

Video from the scene showed investigators searching a Green Line train and the surrounding area.
