Episode 2 of HBO’s horror drama series It: Welcome To Derry will be made available almost three days ahead of schedule to celebrate Halloween. It will debut Friday, October 31, at 12:00am PT/3:00am ET on HBO Max . The episode will premiere on HBO as scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

This is a one-off exception tied to the holiday. Subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season will continue to be released Sundays on HBO and HBO Max leading up to the season finale on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Set in the world of Stephen King’s “It” universe, Welcome To Derry was developed for television by filmmakers Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs, with Muschietti directing multiple episodes.
