PROVO — Even days after a popular sports influencer visited the Beehive State for the latest football renewal of the BYU-Utah rivalry, his reviews of local pizza hotspots were still resulting in some of the busiest days ever for those businesses.

At Nico’s Pizza, located at 255 Cougar Blvd., owner Nate Bertasso said Friday Oct. 17 as well as the following Monday were two of the top five busiest days his restaurant had experienced, following a visit from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

Portnoy arrived at Nico’s on Thursday, Oct. 16, and subsequently scored his experience a 7.4 out of 10 as part of his recurring “One Bite Pizza Reviews.”
