SPANISH FORK, Utah (ABC4) — One woman has died, and several others were injured Sunday after a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck hauling a horse trailer on U.S. Highway 6 in Spanish Fork.
According to the Spanish Fork Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 6 and Spanish Fork Parkway. A westbound truck pulling a horse trailer collided with several vehicles stopped at a red light.
Two people were taken to a local hospital in serious condition. One of them, an 85-year-old woman, later died from her injuries, police said. Others sustained minor injuries but were not transported.
The horse trailer was carrying four horses. One horse suffered a broken leg.
