Scots patient waiting seven years for treatment as NHS waiting times row deepens

A Scot has been waiting for NHS treatment for seven years after languishing on a waiting list . ‌

The patient has been waiting for 2495 days since 2018 for ear, nose and throat care . ‌

The shocking wait comes as one in six Scots are waiting to be seen by the health service under the SNP Government . ‌

In his Daily Record column, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar also revealed a patient waiting six and a half years for gynaecology.

Another sick Scot waited over six years for general surgery.

According to the new figures, a child has also been waiting more than five and a half years for paediatric surgery. ‌
