The local MLAs from Ludhiana along with deputy commissioner Himanshu Jain held a meeting Sunday on route plan for the grand Nagar Kirtan, being organized by the Punjab government to mark the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
The 350th martyrdom day (Shaheedi Divas) of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, falls on November 24.
During the meeting, the MLAs said that one of the four grand Nagar Kirtans will commence from Faridkot on November 20, pass through Ferozepur and Moga before reaching Ludhiana the same day.
In Ludhiana district, the Nagar Kirtan will pass through significant landmarks, including Gurdwara Nanaksar Jagraon and Mullanpur Dakha.
According to the finalized route, the Nagar Kirtan will enter Ludhiana via Baddowal, proceed towards Westend Mall, Lodhi Club Ro
