As the government shutdown continues, millions of Americans are expected to lose their SNAP and WIC benefits by the end of the week.

In the past few days, the Trump administration has said they do not plan to use excess funds from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to keep both SNAP and WIC going.
The threat of losing these services is being felt throughout the Tri-State.
"It's going to be more difficult for us to buy fruits and vegetables, especially fresh," said Amanda Walker.
Walker is a mom of three, with one more on the way. She said WIC benefits help her provide balanced, nutritious meals for her kids.
