Every dog dreams of a warm, loving home and a family that never lets them go.

While wandering the streets of Othello, Washington, a red Husky later named Luna longed for the comfort of the home she once knew. She searched every passing face, hoping one might belong to her former owner, but no one came for her.

Thankfully, rescuers from Adams County Pet Rescue found her and brought her to safety. Luna quickly charmed the staff with her gentle nature, and everyone believed she must have once belonged to someone who cared for her deeply.

They hoped her owners would soon step forward to reclaim her. Sadly, no one did.

Luna’s Daring Escape

Shelter life was difficult for Luna. The noise and constant commotion left her uneasy, and she clearly missed the world beyond the kennel walls.
