IndiGo has resumed direct flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou, re-establishing passenger air connectivity between India and China after a five-year hiatus.
Daily Airbus service reconnects two nations
The first flight, operated by an Airbus A320, took off from Kolkata around 10 pm (IST) on Sunday and landed in Guangzhou at 4:05 am local time. The return flight reached Kolkata at 7:50 am (IST) on Monday. The service will operate daily, the airline confirmed.
