As AI chatbots make their way into classrooms worldwide, OpenAI on Monday, October 27, announced a new education-focused initiative that looks to make it easier for college students in India to use ChatGPT to study.

‘Chats for Students in India’ is a webpage comprising more than 50 real-world use cases of how students in top Indian universities have been prompting ChatGPT to study as well as learn new skills and navigate college life. These sample prompts range from ‘create a study schedule’ to ‘generate a practice quiz’, ‘get hostel cooking advice’, and more.

Institutions that have contributed to the new ChatGPT prompt guide for students include IIT Madras, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), and Delhi Technical Campus, OpenAI said.
