Lakhimpur Kheri: The Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has renamed several cities and railway stations in the state since the party came to power in the state. The idea behind the new names, or restoring the older ones as explained by the CM is to restore their hsitorical and cultural identity. Now, in a similar vein, the CM on Monday said his government will move a proposal to rename Mustafabad village in Lakhimpur Kheri district as 'Kabirdham'

Adityanath said that the change would restore the area's historical and cultural identity linked with Sant Kabir.

He said the name change was in line with previous such decisions by his government to \"restore\" the names of places changed by erstwhile rulers.
