The Saudi AI startup Humain, founded by the kingdom's sovereign wealth fund, has announced the launch of an innovative computer operating system this week. The new system allows users to perform tasks by speaking directly to the computer, a company representative confirmed on Monday.

Humain sees its groundbreaking product, Humain 1, as a potential game-changer in the realm of personal computer operating systems, traditionally dominated by platforms like Windows and macOS since the mid-1980s. "Rather than relying on icons for individual applications, users can now express their intent verbally," said CEO Tareq Amin at the Fortune Global Forum held in Riyadh.
