Picture Tree Intl. has acquired the international sales rights, excluding Benelux, to the Flemish noir thriller “Night Creatures” (Nachtvlinders), directed by Indra Siera (“Old Belgium,” “Professor T.”). The film will be introduced to international buyers at the upcoming American Film Market.

Kinepolis Film Distribution will release the film in Benelux on Nov. 5.

“Night Creatures” is based on the international bestseller “Le Monte Charge ” (Bird in a Cage) by French author Frédéric Dard . The novel has been published in several languages, including English, Spanish and Italian.

The film centers on Dylan, who is determined to leave his criminal past behind him after serving a prison sentence. But an old debt forces him to commit one last break-in at the popular Brasserie Papillon. The
