HARMAN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and a global leader in connected automotive technologies, has announced a fresh investment of ₹345 crore ( $42 million) to expand its automotive electronics manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune.

The plan includes an immediate investment of ₹45 crore ( $5.5 million) and an additional ₹300 crore ( $36.5 million) over the next three years to support advanced telematics and next-generation automotive connectivity programs. With this, HARMAN’s cumulative investment in the Pune plant has reached ₹554 crore ( $67 million) since its establishment in 2014. The expansion is expected to create 300 new jobs by 2027.
