An office building could be turned into 29 flats on a major road in Cambridge. MPM Properties has proposed to turn 54 to 62 Dukes Court in Newmarket Road, Cambridge , into 29 flats.

Dukes Court is a three-storey terraced office block. The plans include 15 one-bed flats and 14 two-bed flats.

If approved, the plans would also see the basement area turned into 41 car park spaces. There will also be 64 cycle parking spaces in the basement area, with a central cycle parking area in an open area at the back of the building.

The basement car park will continue to be accessed via Sun Street. Pedestrian access will also be via Sun Street at the front of the building, as well as through gated access points from Wellington Street and Severn Place.
