Messick Farm Equipment recently acquired the Reading Tractor and Equipment business, adding to its footprint in eastern Pennsylvania.

Neil Messick, one of the owners of Messick Farm Equipment, said adding the Reading location, which is located in Leesport, provides a strategic benefit as far as moving parts between stores. While Mount Joy is the main hub in the Messick’s chain, Reading provides a midpoint to the Honesdale location.
