Hyderabad: Political temperatures soared in Telangana on Monday after BRS leaders Koppula Eshwar and Korukanti Chander were arrested following a heated argument with the police who obstructed them from staging protest near the 125-foot Dr BR Ambedkar statue at the State Secretariat.
The leaders, accompanied by several party activists, had gathered at the site challenging Minister Adluri Laxman for an open debate on the performance of the BRS and Congress governments.
