An Edinburgh woman endured excruciating symptoms for years after scans failed to reveal she was suffering from a severe condition.
Ellie Alexander, 26, was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2019 but suffered chronic pain and fatigue for over 10 years before doctor's pinpointed the condition.
The Slateford resident has undergone multiple surgeries and takes a plethora of medications to manage the condition and wants to raise awareness for other women with endometriosis .
