As President Donald Trump's poll numbers continue to plummet, the president called for a ban on "fake" political ads pushed by "radical left losers" that don't show what he considers "real polls," according to Mediaite.
On his way to Japan to meet with newly minted Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, Trump took to Truth Social to rant about poll numbers, insisting that he’d won three elections and that his current polling numbers were the best he’d “ever received."

Despite his alleged "best polling numbers" he "ever received," Trump claimed that "the Radical Left Losers are taking fake ads, not showing REAL Polls, but rather saying that I’m Polling at low levels. These are the people that I’ve been beating for years, and am continuing to do so, but by even bigger margins. These ads should not be allowed to run because they are FAKE!"
These claims come as CNN data analyst Harry Enten said Trump has the “Worst economic net approval ratings at this point among presidents since 1977. Look at this. He's the worst for any presidency at this point. How about the second term? … He's the worst for any president at their second term at this point, so Donald Trump isn't just beating himself with record lows. This is the lowest for any president ever at this point in either a [first] presidency or for a second term.”
Key voting blocs like Hispanic Americans are also souring on the president.
A new AP-NORC poll shows a "potential warning sign" for Trump as his favorability among a key constituency of Hispanic voters has fallen since he beginning of the year, the AP reported
American Foreign Press Washington desk chief Sebastian Smith said that Trump's railing against actual poll numbers is par for the course.
"In which the President of the United States, while visiting Asia, begins by lying that he won three elections and ends by saying polls showing his unpopularity should be banned," he posted on X along with Trump's Truth Social tirade.
