Former Iowa State star Emily Ryan making an impact on coaching staff

AMES – Emily Ryan relishes the days when a member of the Iowa State women’s basketball scout team can’t make it to practice. Those days offer Ryan, a graduate assistant for the Cyclones, a chance to jump into practice and play.

“I kind of get excited those days,” Ryan said. “I’m always kind of hoping a scout guy can’t make it.”
