Campaigning leads to community connections, commitment

Running for School Committee in Ward 2 has been an extraordinary gift — the chance to knock on doors, meet neighbors, and hear directly from parents, teachers, and community members. From front porches to stoops, I’ve been welcomed into people’s lives to talk about the heart of our community: our schools and our students’ futures.

There is something deeply meaningful about standing on a doorstep, looking someone in the eye, and listening to their story. I’ve met parents juggling homework and dinner, grandparents reminiscing about their children’s school days and neighbors who see our schools as the heart of a thriving community.
