An 18-year-old was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision in Plymouth on Friday, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the area of 129 State Road, when Matthew Wilson, 18, lost control of the Honda Civic he was driving, crossed the solid double line, and hit a Jeep Grand Cherokee head-on, according to a preliminary investigation. Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash.
When emergency responders arrived, they found Wilson unresponsive and trapped in his seat, officials said. He was removed from the car and taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, where he was pronounced dead.
