Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said Saturday that two teens had been arrested in connection with a robbery alleged to have occurred on Friday at a home in Evadale.

Havard said that an investigation of the incident revealed that the two suspects, one 15 and other 17 had not only assaulted a 16 year old but also taken his money.

According to Havard, after a warrant was issued by Jasper County Precinct 6 Constable Steve Conner, the two suspects were taken into custody. He said the 15 year was turned over to juvenile authorities and the 17 year old was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Havard said the names of the suspects or victim would not be released due to their age.
