In its continued crackdown against drug menace, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said to have recovered contraband substance from a residential house in Zainapora area of Shopian district.
A Police spokesperson said that acting on specific information, Police Station Zainapora registered a case under FIR No. 98/2025 and obtained a search warrant from the Hon’ble Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Shopian. A team from Police Station Zainapora accompanied by the Executive Magistrate 1st Class, raided the house of Ainaul Ul Huda Dar resident of Darbagh. During the search, 1.164Kgs of charas-like substance was seized. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
