The dreaded second game of a back-to-back rears its nasty head once again on Monday night. This time, for the San Antonio Spurs and their opponent, the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors tipped off a few hours after the Spurs ended their game on Sunday. Both teams’ first game of the back-to-back had disastrous third quarters. While the Spurs bounced back with a win against the Nets, the Raptors couldn’t recover in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Spurs are off to a 3-0 start, their best since the 2019-2020 season. San Antonio has gotten stellar play from its superstar, Victor Wembanyama, and big performances from supporting players like Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, and Devin Vassell. They’ve come when the team has needed them most. The Spurs are 2-0 in clutch games early on this season. Tha
