East Lansing police are investigating a weekend stabbing that left a teenager injured.

Around 1:35 a.m. Saturday, a 17-year-old was stabbed multiple times during or after a large fight in the Charles Street Garage at 121 Charles, the city Police Department said in a statement.

The teen fled the ramp, went to Ann Street Plaza seeking assistance from police and was then taken to an area hospital, according to the post.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not require surgery at the hospital, police reported.

The East Lansing Police Department is investigating and interviewing suspects. Other details were not released.
