TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Troy man is facing an additional charge after troopers continued to investigate a sexual assault of a child. According to New York State Police, Zachary Clark, was arrested for the alleged possession of a sexual performance by a child.
In the continued investigation, troopers said Clark allegedly had images consistent with child sexual exploitation. This discovery led troopers to execute a search warrant of his home on October 15.
Subsequently, he was arrested at the scene, charged with the felony and issued an appearance ticket to the Malta Town Court on October 16. He has since been released.
According to troopers, Clark was previously arrested in a child sex abuse investigation, which the new charge stemmed from.
