Assam Police detained Veer Lachit Sena's senior leader Rantu Paniphukan while he was addressing a press conference at Hotel Apollo Grand on GS Road in Guwahati on Monday, October 27.

The unexpected police action unfolded midway through the briefing, taking journalists and attendees by surprise and creating a moment of high tension at the venue.
