This Halloween, you can see Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance, and Oasis — all on one small stage.

Only it won’t be the real thing. Instead, local musicians are forming cover bands for one-night-only sets of tunes by a variety of both big-name and smaller-size — Hum, anyone? — acts.

So you have Scaradise City trolling Guns N’ Roses, They Came to Conquer … Uranus! goofing on Blink-182, Post Nothing resurrecting Vancouver’s own Japandroids, and AC/DCeased saluting you-know-who.
