Hormel Foods is recalling frozen ready-to-eat chicken products after they may have been contaminated with pieces of metal.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, Hormel Foods Corporation announced that around 4.9 million pounds of chicken are being recalled, according to a recall notice posted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) website. The poultry was distributed nationwide to HRI Commercial Food Service locations from February to September.
