Sydney Sweeney’s New Haircut Is Probably Doing Exactly What She Hoped

Sydney Sweeney’s bob is either “bold,” “SHOCKING,” or “dramatic,” or just “new,” depending on which headline you read about it. (Page Six was the one most scandalized.) Really, it’s just shorter, and blonder. She didn’t pull an Anne Shirley or anything. It’s a haircut. She got one. It’s fine! If not, it’ll grow, either in time or immediately with the help of extensions. But it did two things: One, generated a LOT of content for her hairstylist and the presumably promotional use of Kerastase, and two, gave her movie Christy some attention it was maybe struggling to get in advance of its Nov. 7 premiere (she’s been at it for a while, and yet I personally keep forgetting it’s a thing).
