LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police said Monday that a woman’s death in northeast Lincoln appears to be another case of domestic violence.
Joshua Meyers, 40, of Lincoln was released from a hospital on Saturday and taken to the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Captain Ben Miller said the situation began the evening of Oct. 21, more than 36 hours before police entered 43-year-old Tracy Henman’s northeast Lincoln home.
Police said Henman was found dead inside her home Thursday morning. Her family called 911 and reported they had not seen her in a couple of days and became suspicious.
Several Lincoln Police officers responded to the home minutes later and found Henman and Meyers inside. LPD has confirmed that the two were in a relationship.
