A Nashville man, whom police say was driving the wrong way on Interstate 69, died in a pre-dawn crash Saturday Oct. 25. A Bloomington firefighter on his way to work in Speedway was also seriously injured in the accident.
Johnathon S. Clark, 33, of Nashville, died as a result of his injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash on I-69 near the East Sample Road exit.
Preliminary police reports indicate Clark was driving south in a northbound lane of the highway when his 2016 Jeep Wrangler collided head-on with a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Solomon Dillard-Rynard of Bloomington.
Dillard-Rynard, 29, sustained serious injuries, including a badly hurt leg. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital after the 6 a.m. crash, then transferred by medical helicopter to an Indianapolis hospi
