ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- It's time for Albany to "Git-R-Done!" The Palace Theatre will hosting a performance by comedian and actor Larry the Cable Guy on March 1.

Best known for his blue collar comedy and nuggets of country wisdom, the Grammy Award-nominated comedian has put out numerous stand-up specials and albums throughout his career, his latest being "It's a Gift," which released on September 12. He also starred in the "Cars" movie series, providing the voice for Mater, the rusty, go-with-the-flow tow truck.

His Albany show is slated to kick off at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale October 31 at 10 a.m.

The Palace Theatre is located at 19 Clinton Avenue. You can buy Larry the Cable Guy tickets at the venue's box office or online through Ticketmaster.
