Clerk held at gunpoint during robbery at Abilene store

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A clerk was held at gunpoint during a robbery at an Abilene store Saturday night.

The robbery happened at Family Dollar on the 800 block of Grape Street just before 9:30 p.m.

A police report states an unknown suspect entered the store, held the clerk at gunpoint, then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

An investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
