Texas State Parks Day returns on Saturday, November 2, 2025 , offering free entry to all 89 state parks across the state. Established as part of the 2023 centennial celebration, the annual event encourages Texans to explore the natural beauty and recreational opportunities found in their state parks.

Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of activities , including hiking, wildlife watching, biking, swimming, paddleboarding, and participating in park programs. With parks located throughout nearly every region of Texas, the day offers opportunities to experience the state’s diverse landscapes, from rolling hills to forests and lakes.
