DALLAS — All 85 of Texas's state Parks will be free for visitors on Nov. 2, the agency announced.

On Nov. 2 the state will forgo the $8 entry fee charged at the state's parks in honor of Texas State Parks Day. It's only the third annual State Park day, according to a press release from the agency.

North Texas's state parks include Cedar Hill State Park, Cleburne State Park, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Ray Roberts Lake State Park and Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway.

You can reserve entry to the park of your choice ahead of time online or by calling the Customer Service Center at (512) 389-8900, according to the release.

Kids 12 and under always get into state parks for free.
