LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNOE) - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration is funding a new program to address maternal health concerns in South Arkansas.
Helping Expand Access to Rural maternal health care Transformation for Moms, also known as HEART Moms, is a rural maternity and obstetrics management program. It will use $4 million in HRSA funding to increase maternal healthcare access in Ashley and Union Counties.
