Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has weighed in on the speculation surrounding who could be the next hosts of the BBC show, and she has someone in mind

Shirley Ballas "absolutely" knows who she wants as the next Strictly host. ‌

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have revealed that they will step down from the show after this series. The duo, who have hosted Strictly together since 2014, said in a video that they felt the time was right to "pass over the baton". ‌

A whole host of stars have been tipped to replace the pair, with fans speculating about who it could be. The likes of Rylan Clark and Fleur East (both have presented Strictly spin-off it Takes Two) are just a couple of the names reportedly in the running. ‌
