A Detroit man pleaded guilty to all charges for two shootings hours apart at the Warren home of a Highland Park reserve police officer and agreed to serve eight years behind bars.
Dashaun Lewis, 22, entered pleas Friday in Macomb County Circuit Court to 15 charges, including three counts of attempted murder and several weapons charges, for the Jan. 5 and 6 incidents at the victim’s residence, according to court records.
Lewis entered the pleas in a Cobb’s deal with Judge Richard Caretti that he serve six years for the attempted-murder charges and two mandatory years for felony firearm possession.
Lewis is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 9 by Caretti.
His attorney, Brian Brown, declined to comment afterward.
