Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is slated to chair an emergency meeting on Tuesday to review the situation in view of cyclone ‘Montha’.
According to sources, the Chief Minister review preparedness to deal with the situation arising out of the cyclonic storm, which is set to become severe on Tuesday.
Though the cyclone is set to make a landfall near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha is gearing up for very heavy rain likely to be triggered by the storm in several parts of the state.
The Chief Minister will discuss various aspects of the preparedness at the high-level meeting with top officials of key departments and agencies.
