In Chandigarh, Shaw hammered an unbeaten 222 off just 156 balls against Chandigarh, reaching his double hundred in 141 deliveries, the third-fastest in Ranji Trophy history. His knock helped Maharashtra declare at 359 for 3, leaving Chandigarh chasing 464. At stumps, Chandigarh were 129 for 1, still needing 335 runs on the final day.
