Neutrogena has announced a recall for more than 15,000 makeup wipe packages.
Officials said the wipes were recalled due to concerns about potential bacterial contamination. Some of the recalled wipes had tested positive for Pluralibacter gergoviae, which can cause infections. Advertisement
The recall is for cases of Neutrogena's 50-count, 25-pack makeup remover ultrasoft cleansing towelettes with lot number 1835U6325A, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The wipes in question were sent to stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas.
There is no information on the source of the potential contamination.
