HĀLAWA, Hawaii (Island News) – An investigation is underway after an apparent armed robbery occurred at a store in the Hālawa area on Sunday afternoon.
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) reported that at approximately 4 p.m., a man entered the Hālawa Heights Market and allegedly pointed a handgun at the clerk. The unknown man then left the scene with the cash register.
Police confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.
HPD described the man to be in his 20s or 30s and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a ski mask. He left the scene in a gold-colored four-door Toyota sedan with dark-tinted windows.
